Tatty Bumpkin is delighted to be among three other franchisors joining FranchisingWorks
We have been welcomed as franchisors onto the FranchisingWorks programme this month along with 3 others, having all successfully passed through their rigorous approval process. Franchisees starting up a business with any of us and the other franchisors are now eligible for funding from their Licence Fund, which can lend up to £10,000 to unemployed candidates in Greater Manchester to purchase their franchise licence.

In order to be approved, we all had to undergo an audit of our franchisee network undertaken by the British Franchise Association (bfa), along with scrutiny of our franchise agreement, company accounts, franchisee projections, risk management and business model. We have received approval from both the bfa and from Franchising Works' independent Advisory Board of experts. They said "their success is a true testament to the viability and rigour of their franchise model; we congratulate them and welcome them happily on to the programme".

Yoga breakfast club

Ran a Tatty Bumpkin breakfast club this morning for year 3 upwards. We talked about how hamstring stretches can help with learning, as an increased flexibility means you can sit for longer, more comfortably which helps you to be more focused with learning. Tatty Bumpkin Yoga really helps the kids think about different ways that they can help with pressures of school life as they move up the school, but we have a lot of fun with the stories. This week though, we were being a bit more serious!

Some of the children have been in the group for a year now, and have really noticed a difference with sleeping and relaxation. In the office we are updating all of the franchisee websites, as well as in the process of signing up more franchisees.
